“Let the wine tell the story of the grape” Natural & Sustainable Wine comparison tasting with Ross Perry from Olive Hill Estate.
Ross Perry has always held a passion for producing the perfect wine with a love of French styles after travelling extensively while studying growing/producing regions of the world.
Olive Hills Estate was a renowned vineyard and winery in the early 1900's and the heritage listed homestead was built in 1886. Unfortunately, the vineyard and winery ceased operation in the 1910's.
Ross and Kay purchased the historical property Olive Hills Estate with 500 acres in 1996.
From the outset Ross with his lifelong passion of creating the perfect wine in the perfect natural growing environment, was determined to plant and grow his grapes in a sustainable and wholistic style.
At the time, it was not trendy to be sustainable or organic or non-irrigated but Ross knew that to produce great wine, you needed to nurture and grow the grapes naturally. " let the wine tell the story of the grape".
Talk and walk through the Olive Hill Estate Wines with Ross. Compare and experience the wine quality and taste of sustainable wines with others from different vineyards.
An opportunity to taste, compare and ask Ross all about sustainability in wines and the flavour profiles this gives Olive Hill wines.
