The Opera and Song Collective presents Pergolesi’s timeless masterpiece,  ‘Stabat Mater’ at Mary Mackillop Chapel, Mary Mackillop Place, 7 Mount St. North Sydney, 5 pm Saturday 23rd March 2024.

Enjoy a wonderful one hour concert of music for Easter performed by the women of The Opera and Song Collective in the peaceful setting of the Chapel of Mary Mackillop Place.

The programme also includes  ‘Litanies à la vierge noire’, a mystical vocal work for female voices composed by Francis Poulenc and Ave Maria’ by Saint -Saëns. 

The concert will be conducted by Maestro Simon Kenway and accompanied on pipe organ by Jassen Rose who also performs Ave Maria d’Arcadelt by Liszt.
