Postponed Sydney West Schools Sports Association events in Week 2 Term 3 – Secondary Athletics Championship and Secondary Open Tennis Trial

In line with the Premier’s announcement regarding the extension of COVID-19 restrictions and due to concerns for our students, staff and parents, the following Sydney West Schools Sports Association events have been postponed; Secondary Athletics Championship from Monday 19 July to Wednesday 21 July at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, Sydney Olympic Park and Secondary Open Tennis Trial on Monday 19 July at Nepean District Tennis Association, Penrith.

With the current COVID-19 restrictions, we are conscious that these events require travel for a number of families and staff therefore wish to provide as much notice as possible.

We will investigate dates and venues with a view to running the events later in the year and will provide regular updates for students, families, staff and schools.

SWSSA 2021 Secondary Athletics Championship

Due to COVID restrictions, this is a ticketed event for spectators with limited capacity. Tickets are only available ONLINE with there to be NO ticket sales at the GATE. Every adult spectator must have a scannable ticket to be able to gain entry into this event. Sydney West competitors will not need a ticket for this event. 

PLEASE NOTE: The 2021 Secondary Athletics Championship will be held across three days and two different venues. Please ensure you purchase a ticket for the correct day.

Tickets are NOT refundable and are NOT transferable.

To limit the potential spread of COVID 19 we ask that you please minimise the number of tickets purchased for spectators attending the championships where possible.

Sydney West Souvenir Apparel
Souvenir Apparel will not be sold at the venue on the day of the championships. Competitors can purchase apparel from https://www.paladinsports.com/collections/sydney-west-athletics

All prices include GST. Please note stock is limited and is only available until sold out. No orders will be taken. Delivery will be to your home address.

COVID 19
For the safety of all, if you have experienced COVID 19 symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of taste or loss of smell please do not attend this event.

Food and Beverages
Competitors and spectators are encouraged to bring their own food. There will be food/service concessions available on the day.
