About Motul Pirelli Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) // Rd 4
The Motul Pirelli Australian Superbike Championship returns a month earlier than usual to Morgan Park Raceway, Warwick, QLD for Round 4 on July 6 – 7.
Non-stop Superbike action will light up Warwick as the Nation’s premier motorcycle road racing championship rolls into town.
The jam-packed weekend includes action from the Superbike, Supersport, Supersport 300, YMF R3 Cup and Superbike Masters, along with Motorcycling Australia’s premier junior road racing academy, the bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup.
After three rounds Bryan Staring leads the Championship on his BCperformance Kawasaki Ninja, but only one point behind is Yamaha Racing Team’s, Cru Halliday on the R1.
“Mad Mike” Jones will be the one to watch at Morgan Park as he takes to his home track on board the Desmosport Ducati Panigale. After grabbing pole and 3rd overall at The Bend, can he charge forward and lead the Championship?
2018 Superbike Champion, Penrite Honda Racing’s Troy Herfoss currently sits in 4th after a tough weekend at The Bend. Dubbed, “The Mayor of Goulburn”, Herfoss now lives in Queensland and no doubt this will help him score some points at Round 4.
Will Bayliss be back in ASBK for his home round? With a finger injury putting him out of action for the last 2 rounds, fingers are crossed that he is back for Morgan Park and giving the new Ducati V4R a spin.
The action and excitement doesn't stop on the track, with the chance to meet your favourite riders and grab an autograph! Win your chance to get on the back of a superbike with a pillion ride! Grab a bargain at Trade Alley! Introduce the kids to motorbike riding at bLU cRU Mini Moto Experience which is free for kids to Come n Try!
