Please note: COTA ACT will not be party to or responsible for these arrangements – nor will we be able to provide any additional equipment (outside of your purchased package) at the event.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
To participate in the 2024 ACT Seniors and Better Ageing Expo, a stallholder must meet the following requirements and agree:
• The stallholder’s business/government agency/community organisation must be considered by COTA ACT to be appropriate to be part of the Expo program. In considering whether a business/government agency/community organisation is appropriate, COTA ACT may take into account any past conduct in relation and outstanding invoices to COTA ACT and the ACT Seniors Card Program.
• The Stallholder acknowledges that COTA ACT does not guarantee, and is under no obligation, to ensure that they will receive any minimal amount of business activity, sales or visits by Expo patrons, as a result of their participation in the 2024 ACT Seniors and Better Ageing Expo.
• COTA ACT is under no obligation, and will have no liability, to the Stallholder for failure to provide any services or benefits to the Stallholder and will otherwise have no liability for any loss, damage or injury, or any claims, costs or expenses, whether direct or indirect, incurred by any person as a result of, or in connection with, the Stallholder’s involvement in the Expo.
• The Stallholder indemnifies COTA ACT, its employees, agents and subcontractors against liability in respect of all claims, costs and expenses and for all loss, damage, injury or death to persons or property caused by individuals or the Expo Stallholder’s involvement in the 2024 ACT Seniors and Better Ageing Expo or performance of its obligations under this Agreement. Each Stallholder is required to have their own Public Liability Insurance. You can provide by sending your Public Liability Insurance directly to expo@cotaact.org.au.
• The Stallholder will provide COTA ACT with at least 4 weeks’ notice of their intention to withdraw from the ACT Seniors and Better Ageing Expo, in order to be refunded of all monies paid, minus an administration fee and Ticketebo booking fee. If a lesser period of notice is provided, all monies that have been paid by the Expo Stallholder, will be forfeited.
