About Botanical Bazaar 2025

The Botanical Bazaar – Gold Coast’s Garden & Sustainability Festival is a community event held on the first weekend in August Every Year At Country Paradise Parklands, Nerang. The Rotary Club of Gold Coast stages the event not only to raise funds for its work in the community but also because it promotes healthy and sustainable living and supports small local businesses and entertainers.

Not your average gardening market, this annual festival transforms its entire site into a vibrant, immersive celebration of gardening, sustainability, and community. Described as "The Woodford of Garden Festivals," it offers an array of activities for all ages, including:

- Speaking Program: 24 insightful presentations across two stages featuring celebrity speakers and local experts.
- Workshops: Dive deep into specific topics with 28 hands-on sessions led by subject matter experts.
- Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances by local bands and musicians on the Figtree Stage and throughout the venue.
- Children's Activities: Interactive and educational programs focusing on nature and healthy living.
- Exhibitors: Explore approximately 100 stalls featuring plant sellers and local artisans.
- Guided Walks: Join 10 expert-led tours exploring community and urban gardens, including insights from celebrity gardeners.
- Food Vans: Relish delicious offerings from 15 diverse food vendors.
- Botanic Art Competition: View 40 stunning Bee art pieces from the 2025 Art@Bazaar competition.
- School Gardens Showcase: Celebrate the educational value and creativity of school garden projects.
- Local Enivornment Groups: Learn about and support the efforts of not-for-profit organisations promoting sustainability.
- Waste Management Excellence: A standout initiative where only 7% of waste generated in 2023 went to landfill, showcasing best practices in event sustainability.
