About Balingup Music Experience
We are excited to announce the formation of the Balingup Music Experience, heralding a new era of fine music in Balingup Western Australia.
Australian Baroque, one of Australia’s most exciting and innovative ensembles, is to launch this new music initiative with a glorious Italian and German program featuring Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli and Biber sonatas from the 17th and 18th centuries on period instruments.
The Balingup Music Experience comprises a group of local residents committed to bringing a wide range of musical experiences to Balingup including professional performances, community music workshops, master classes, music therapy and wellbeing programs as well as compositional, musical theatre and educational programs.
The music genres include, but not limited to, chamber, classical, choral, jazz, blues, folk and country.
The Balingup Music Experience builds on 12 years of bringing leading Australian and international musicians to Balingup for the Brookvale House concerts and contributes to making Balingup a vibrant and prosperous town with a Village feel.
All proceeds from these not-for-profit concerts goes towards artists’ fees and for supporting the Balingup community through the Balingup Progress Association.
