This dynamic one-day workshop is an opportunity for practitioners, students and those interested in historical archaeology to explore best practice, innovations and technology as well as recent historical archaeology projects in NSW.
This year’s theme is ‘Something New - Recent historical archaeological discoveries and innovations.
The day will include keynote speakers, papers, practical demonstrations and discussions all related to current practice in historical archaeology.
SHAP 2023 has been designed especially for students, academics and heritage professionals from both government and heritage consultancies.
The event offers a rare platform to get across new research and the latest findings from local excavation sites.
It’s also an opportunity to network with peers and ask questions formally at the end of each session or informally during the breaks.
Price includes all sessions, morning tea, afternoon tea, lunch and a complimentary drink at the evening event.
