When: Friday 18th April to Sunday 20th of April 2025 (Easter Long Weekend)

Where: Aileron Racecourse Reserve, 130km north of Alice Springs. Head to Aileron Roadhouse and follow the signs from there. 2WD accessible and only 500m off the highway.

Details: The Aileron Bush Weekend begins on Friday afternoon with a rodeo school and a chance for competitors to meet the chute boss, followed by an evening party at the Aileron Rodeo Arena featuring a mechanical bull. Saturday kicks off with the Gymkhana in the morning, followed by the Motorkhana. The afternoon is packed with fun novelty games and activities for kids in the rodeo arena. The Rodeo starts on Saturday afternoon, leading into the famous Mexican Donkey Race, a lively bush dance with live music from Late Scratching, and the thrilling inflatable pony race.

Get amongst the action with bulls, broncs and junior rodeo events. Professional bucking stock provided by Remfrey & Co Rodeo Company.

It's sure to be action packed so be sure to bring the whole family for a weekend FULL of rodeo fun!

There are toilet and shower facilities available at the event. Canteen is open along with other food vans.

Pre purchase your tickets however they will be available to purchase at the gate.

This is a family friendly event. Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated. Police will be in attendance.

No dogs, no fireworks, no motorbikes (except motokhana competitors – bikes to remain on utes or locked up).
